His original compositions reflect a unique synthesis of Celtic, traditional, and classical sounds and forms. His vocal works are often backed with the intricate details blended from these sources of inspiration Rusty and Jan are a husband and wife acoustic duo! Their collaboration began in December 2000 when they were each recruited by a mutual friend to play in a Christmas Eve service. Following the event they agreed to explore how their divergent backgrounds would complement each other. Combined, Rusty’s experience with “music by ear” and Jan’s background as a classically trained flutist, they create a modern and innovative interpretation of many well known songs. They play a diverse assortment of styles including classical, originals, popular, and folk (to name a few). Lee Morgan is a singer songwriter and actor born and raised in Shreveport, LA. GRACE GROWS is the debut solo album and original soundtrack written and recorded by Lee Morgan for the novel GRACE GROWS, by Shelle Sumners. The novel is being published by St. Martin's Press, and will be in bookstores everywhere October 30, 2012. The album is available through CDBaby, iTunes, Amazon MP3 & Google Play. The enhanced eBook from St. Martin's Press will feature the song "Her" from the GRACE GROWS original soundtrack and the audio book will also include songs from the soundtrack and will be available from Random House Audio.
